Buttery in Color and Taste! Feb 05, 2010
This Golden Whitefish Caviar from Little Pearl is a new discovery for me, I had never tried it before encountering it here. I am surprised to find the mild-buttery-salty taste hasn't been scooped up by mainstream foodies yet! It is so good! You can pair it with anything that goes with buttery / salty... which is anything! I served it on slices of firm Roma tomatoes with creme fraiche, as well as on ginger snaps with a little vanilla cream! The little pop of flavor on your tongue is great. New devotee :)
